How to Create a Liquidity Pool on Jupiter
Published: 26.07.2024Author: CoinFactory
Jupiter does not directly support creating liquidity pools on its platform. As a swap aggregator, Jupiter utilizes liquidity from other decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on Solana. To create a liquidity pool that can be accessed through Jupiter, you’ll need to create it on one of the supported DEXs. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Choose a supported DEX: Popular options include Raydium, Orca, or Meteora.
Step 2: Create the liquidity pool on the chosen DEX: For example, on Raydium:
- Create Your Token;
- Make sure you revoke your freezing privileges;
- Go to raydium.io/liquidity/create/;
- Connect the wallet from which you created the token;
- Paste your “OpenBook Market ID” (A guide on how to create);
- Set the initial price for your token;
- Add liquidity for both tokens in the pair;
- Select the publication date and confirm the transaction.
Step 3: Once the liquidity pool is created on a supported DEX, Jupiter will automatically be able to access it for swaps.
After creating the pool, users will be able to trade your token via Jupiter, as it aggregates liquidity from various DEXs on Solana. Remember, while Jupiter doesn’t offer direct liquidity pool creation, it plays a crucial role in the Solana ecosystem by aggregating liquidity across multiple DEXs, making it easier for users to find the best trading routes for your token.
