Uniswap Set to Launch Pools.trade Token Issuance Platform on Robinhood Chain

Uniswap is preparing to roll out Pools.trade, a dedicated token launchpad built specifically for the Robinhood Chain. The platform marks a strategic shift for the leading decentralized exchange as it expands beyond pure trading infrastructure into the high-revenue token issuance space.

The official website pools.trade has been live for weeks, featuring a minimalist design with a looping video of a frog jumping into a pond and the message “Coming soon from Uniswap.” The domain was registered in mid-July 2026 and initially used noindex tags to limit search visibility. On August 4, 2026, Uniswap’s official account posted a countdown teaser, while founder Hayden Adams confirmed the product would open “very soon.”

Two Launch Modes Confirmed

Community analysis of frontend code and deployed contracts revealed two primary issuance mechanisms:

  • Crowd Launch: A four-hour time-weighted auction. Typically features a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens, with 50% sold in the auction and the remaining 50% plus raised funds locked permanently into a Uniswap v4 liquidity pool. Tokens migrate to open trading once they reach approximately $50,000 market cap; otherwise, participants receive full refunds.
  • Instant Launch: A bonding-curve model similar to popular meme platforms. 80% of the supply is available for immediate trading, while 20% is reserved for liquidity. Migration to Uniswap v4 occurs at the same $50,000 threshold, with no deadline or refund option.

The platform supports fundraising in ETH and USDG. Protocol fees are set at 0.25%, with an additional 0.05% creator fee. Related smart contracts, including CCA Factory and LiquidityLauncher, were already deployed on Robinhood Chain before the public announcement. Users have already been able to create tokens by interacting directly with the contracts, bypassing the unfinished frontend.

Why Uniswap Is Entering the Launchpad Market

Uniswap already processes more than 95% of DEX volume on Robinhood Chain and has facilitated over $10 billion in cumulative trading volume since the chain’s launch. However, dedicated launchpads such as Flap and Pons have generated monthly revenues comparable to — and in some recent periods exceeding — Uniswap’s total fees across all chains. By launching its own issuance platform, Uniswap aims to capture a larger share of the value created during the earliest stages of a token’s lifecycle.

Pools.trade is expected to function both as a launchpad and as an aggregated trading terminal for tokens from multiple platforms within the Robinhood ecosystem.

Current Status and Market Reaction

As of August 5, 2026, the platform remains in final countdown mode. Several community-driven meme tokens themed around frogs and pools have already appeared on-chain, though none are officially affiliated with Uniswap. An independent X account using the @pools_trade handle has been promoting a separate $UPOOLS token; this is not connected to the official Uniswap product.

The launch of Pools.trade is widely viewed as one of the most significant developments for the Robinhood Chain ecosystem in 2026. It positions Uniswap to compete directly in the highly competitive token issuance sector while leveraging its dominant liquidity infrastructure.

Users interested in the platform can monitor the official website at pools.trade and Uniswap’s verified social channels for the exact opening time. As with all early-stage token launches, participants should conduct thorough research and understand the inherent risks.
